Cars Circle Colorado’s Capitol During a Twelve-Hours Debate
On Monday, March 4th, 2013 seven gun control bills sponsored by Colorado Democrats were heard in two different hearing for over 14 hours. 850KOA AM radio talk show host promoted a protest and people showed up.
From 8:00 a.m. until 10:00p.m. people inside the capitol and in the chambers where the hearing were being conducted could hear the voices of the people via their car horns.
Over a thousand people showed up to testify, most were not given the opportunity to be heard and this was by design.
The bills are up for second reading in the Colorado Senate on Friday, March 8th in what is expected to be a 15-hour marathon debate. Hopefully, another endless see of people and car horns will show up again.
